Hey friends! Mrs. GadgetSponge has been wanting a potting hutch for forever and I finally got it built for her. Mostly all treated wood to last quite a while. Especially with our wet PNW weather and the grime that loves to grow on everything that sits still.
The hutch features a slide out tray on the far end to reach all the stored goodies. There’s also a hidden compartment tray to be able to reach down through the top to grab some potting soil ingredients. I left the design pretty open on the bottom to discourage most spiders and other critters from trying to make this hutch their home. Height is 7 feet tall. I even made a little stepping stool out of scrap wood so Mrs. G could reach those top shelves easily. Here’s to years of potting fun!
