I've got another upcycled roller skate "rolling out" here.
Another fun "roller skate upcycled truck"! This one started with the base of an old skate and a copper plated tin "Coffee" canister. Next I had to find a cab, so I found an old brass wall hanging pocket holder. I bent the top over to make the roof. I really had a great time creating the look of the headlights from custom cutting and grinding napkin ring parts. The lights are old industrial light indicator covers. The grill bumper is the heavy silver plate handle of a serving dish caddy. The back fenders are modified napkin ring pieces. An old galvanized sifter handle is the back bumper to compliment the red light indicator covers. Some copper plumbing comes together to create the exhaust pipes on top. Old vegetable steamer fins and a vintage garden faucet handle finish out the front. This definitely had a ton of custom work and manipulating involved.
Here are the measurements...
Height: 9"; Width (side to side): 6"; Depth (front to back): 11.5".
