Funny title, huh? I've got a lucky predicament that's happened in the backyard via the probable misery of another gardener.
This galvanized bucket sits beneath a popular perch of some frequently visiting Mockingbirds. And now I have tomato plants growing. I'm sure there is some gardener in the area that has tomatoes that have been pecked pretty good.
The Mockingbirds just love anything juicy. I've put out apples and grapes before that have gone soft or mealy and then just peck away at them until nothing is hardly left.
I'll keep you posted on how the tomatoes grow and exactly what kind of tomatoes we've been given!
