I've made plenty of roller skates trucks before so I figured, why can't a vintage Singer sewing machine drawer be transformed into a car!?! I had some old wheels from a busted up Ertl truck left over and plenty of sewing machine drawers laying around. Time to get to work! I used some vintage wood blocks (that I played with some 35 years ago as a toddler) to build up a housing for the wheel axles. Some yardsticks made the perfect "floor" of the car. Handles were made from lamp assembly posts and vintage folding wooden measuring sticks. The face was created with expired dog tags and a grill from a vintage toy car. On the back is a brass shipping tag and along the bottom is frame pieces from a pot rack making frame. Voila!!
