Gulf Fritillary Butterfly Caterpillar Hatch

After about 5 days or so (Previous Post), the Gulf Fritillary has come out of its chrysalis.  I did notice the ones hanging on things out by the passion flower vine emerged a little quicker.  They probably got a little more direct sunlight.

I noticed it first thing this morning when I thought I would go check.  I then took it out into some direct sunlight and took the screened cap off after a while to let it come out of the top whenever it was ready.

Pretty soon it'll get its brilliant gold and silver colors and complete its next phase in life.
