Domino's SecondHandLogos.com GadgetSponge Repurposed Side Table Progress

Hey folks!  I'm here to update you on the progress on my first Domino's repurposing project -- a side table!

Got the storefront logo lightbox all cleaned up after it arrived.

Added some plywood inside the bottom of the box and underneath to strengthen the frame and to give more support for the vintage metal legs.

The vintage diner legs are in place now and solid as a rock. The bottom feet on the legs is adjustable too!

I just came across some neat automotive car trim from the 70s. It compliments the whole piece and hides the plywood.

All the automotive trim is in place and ready for the next step...

Halfway through the project I was thinking that it's such a waste to have this big box as the tabletop and not have a function. So I installed some hinges so it could provide some nice storage space. The table is about 25" square so a lot could fit in there.

Hinged top complete!

To make it easier to open the new lid top I added some vintage chrome handles I had in my stash. They really tie in nicely with industrial vibe.

Lid top now working great with handles. Look at all that storage space!!!  Next steps are to finish out the bottom of the interior floor and manufacture some protective corners for the bottom corners of the table.   STAY TUNED!!!  SecondHandLogos.com
