Here's a quick look at some of the more memorable visitors to the backyard this morning...
This Robin got so close to pose for me that I couldn't resist. I always feel great when I can catch the tints in the pupils.
This Mockingbird couldn't help but stop for a small wink or two in the warm sunlight. Must have been partying too much last night.
A Red Admiral Butterfly stopped in one area long enough to sneak up on it for some closeup photos. There's been quite a few of them the past week or so but they've been so skiddish that it's been hard to get some nice shots.
I was really neat to catch the blue tones in the wings that you might miss at a distance. These butterflies are generally around 3 inches wide when mature. They have a pretty large dispersion in territory in their migrations.
