New Life in Spring for the Robins

Here and there I've collected some photos of a family of Robins that took to a nest on the back of our basketball goal.  So the kids have missed playing basketball for a while in hopes of not disturbing the young family. 

Both the male and female took strong watch over the nest especially after the hatching.  They also became more brave in the backyard coming closer toward me in search of critters and crawlers for the young, hungry mouths.  Now the nest is empty.  I haven't seen the young, but I seen the parents still searching for food.
