Orange Accent Aluminum Percolator Birdhouse
I wanted to bring in a color to compliment the copper pieces on this birdhouse, so orange it was! I painted the metal percolator lid and the touched up some of the vintage garden faucet handle. After that, I fabricated an awning over the birdhole out of some copper casserole dish tray parts. The back "rail" was fabricated using some copper tubing and copper handle ends. A silverplate tray/trivet and tap shoe metal piece finalize things. The percolator on top is glass.
