Green Vintage License Plate Birdhouse

Here's a new birdhouse that I just completed using a vintage dark green license plate for the housing.  On this one, I kept the focus on making it very rough and grungy.  The license plate is very distressed and the solder work is loose to compliment that.  The piece features vintage typewriter keys, a fifty-cent piece, a napkin ring, the base from a copper oil lamp (roof) a brass handle taken from a brass platter, another piece from a typewriter to hold the typewriter keys, a vintage candy mold and finally a copper lid (base) from an old copper pot.
